So the other day when I was driving about on the highway, I started getting these flashbacks from when I was a kid in the early 1990's. There were only a few games that worked on the NES that I played at my babysitter's house. Super Mario Bros. 1 and 3, Karate Champ, Donkey Kong Jr., Metroid, Dr. Mario, Heavy Shreddin', and then finally the mysterious game I cannot find.

I obviously do not know the name, never did know the name. All I remember was these things; I think you played as a kid (possibly green hair), it was a platformer, I think you collected keys but I'm not too sure. There is only one image I have left of the game in my memory and I did best to recreate it on MS Paint. I'll post the image below:

In the image there is the character, the platforms (and I really do not recall any other detail on the mushroom shaped platforms but I could be wrong), there was these briars below or something near the bottom of the screen that hurt you if you touch them. I think the keys were different colors as well.

I know it is not Little Nemo Dream Master either. If anybody knows this game I'm thinking of, please step forward because this is just plain irritating me that I do not know what this is.

Thanks!

You know you are getting old when you have to explain how to use a VCR to a group of five year olds.

That's alright jim, the image I conjoured up above is just a blur of what I see if I think hard enough. In fact if anybody can get this one, I'll shove a 32X up my rear end.

Platinum, are sure this game was on NES?  If so you might want to find a 32X.  I think I figured out the game you are looking for.

It's called Wizards and Warriors!

I've played Wizards and Warriors but I did not think it was it. If there is one thing I can swear by the most it is the character you play as. I swear it was like Alex Kidd, though I know it is not.

Thanks though.
