Not sure if there is a topic or not already for this as I couldn't find one...but today I ran across something I'm sure everyone here will enjoy. Abobo's Big Adventure is a free to play online game that allows you to control Abobo as he goes across many of your favorite NES games including Mega Man, Contra and others to rescue his son (Abobo Jr.) who has been taken. This was released yesterday and is lots of fun, so check out the link and get your Abobo on, haha. http://abobosbigadventure.com/

I was reading this hoping I was thinking of the right video game character...and I was. Good stuff! It looks like Newgrounds, the people who made Castle Crashers, helped make this game.

I was only able to play for just a few minutes as I found it while at work...had I found it a little earlier I could have played a little longer before anyone got into the office though, haha.

I was at my local game store a couple months back and I grabbed an advertisement for this game. Totally made me stand up and take notice when I saw it was a love letter to the NES featuring Abobo from Double Dragon. This game rocks!!! It reminds me a lot of Super Mario Bros. Crossover and I'm really glad the developer finished the game! My nostalgic senses where totally tingling when I saw Goomba and a T & C Surfer appear on screen amongst a vast variety of other NES characters. Grade A game here. Thanks for sharing Poppa Pun.

I would really love to get an interview for the web site, which leads me to my question for you all, does any one have the time to contact the designer of Abobo's Big Adventure for an interview? If not, I want to do my best to conduct the interview but it is up for grabs if any one here would like to do the interview and post it here on the site. Thanks guys!

Alrighty everyone, Platinum has landed us an interview oppurtunity with Team Abobo, the designers behind Abobo's Big Adventure. Those of you who read this in time, if you can please post any questions you would like Platinum to ask team abobo in the interview that would be great! Please post all questions by tomorrow morning at which point Platinum will round them all up and send the questions for the interview. Thanks everyone and thank you Platinum for contacting them

Here are my questions Aaron: -What kind of time and consideration was put into the NES characters that appear in the game? -Of all the NES characters, what made you decide on Abobo for the main lead? -Now did you meet Nick and Luis, the gentlemen who helped you finish Abobo's Big Adventure? -In 2006, you, nick and Luis began the game from scratch, how much stayed the same and how much changed from the original vision of the game? -If you had to name just one NES game that most influenced you to create Abobo's Big Adventure, which would it be? -What are your plans for Abobo's Big Adventure now that it has been released? Do you plan on any expansions? -What other projects do you have in store for us in the future?

>>> What NES character was the most difficult to recreate accurately? >>>Twilight Zone or Outer Limits? >>>Favorite James Bond actor? >>>What's your favorite Adventure Time character? >>>What's the wierdest thing in your closet of geek? >>>What guilty pleasure movie are you not afraid to say you love? For me it's "Love Stinks" starring French Stewart.

Oops, I did not include Tony's Questions. Shall I send another email with the questions or leave it? My favorite Bond actor is Sean Connery but that is because he was a really sharp one at that. My least favorite is Roger Moore.
