Jimmy and I are back from our winter break--hope you all had a good xmas and new years--and we are back working on the site in full force. We are always open to input, but the truth is, we usually don't get it. We get a good flow of visitors, but most don't want to talk. Trust me, that is cool with us. We have continued to improve the look and organization of the site throughout 2010, and we want to do more this year. For those of you out there who do share your thoughs, what do you think? Anything suggestions on how we can make the site better for you? | |

That's right baby the Video Game Saga boys are back in town after the holidays (Thin Lizzy sings about it below hehe). As TonyB mentioned, we always look forward to hearing feedback and value everyone's contribution so please feel free to shoot us an email or post your thoughts on the forums. Good or bad we wanna hear what you have to say. 2011 is amongst us and thus we at Video Game Saga have another kick ass year of gaming goodness coming your way! Stay tuned for more videos, more interviews with gaming alumni, more articles... heck more of everything! We eat sleep and breath video games, it pumps through our veins! PizzaNinja checking in for 2011! Give me some challenges and games to play! I have plenty of stuff I am looking forward to playing this year for sure. Anyone else have a particular achievement they are going for in 2011 (video game related)? | |

Good question PizzaNinja, I in fact do have a video game achievement I'm going after this year. While it is not a high score or anything like that, I am actually on a mission to complete my NES collection in 2011. I currently have half of the entire library of NES games, so I'm gonna go for the second half. Which means this is going to be an extremely expensive year if I'm gonna get my hands on a World Championships Gold Cart, Stadium Events and of course the naughty unlicensed games such Bubble Bath Babes | |

Alright...I have one goal this year. Getting my little show up and running! Hopefully, (once I get a bigger drive for my laptop) I will get our first show done! I have some outtakes I can post...just gonna need to bleep some parts out...<.< I'd also like you guys to come up with some more challenges we can do! Oh, and Pizzaninja...I'd like you to participate in some of these challenges. That is, if you want to? | |

What do you think of the site's overhaul? What do you think about the Video Game Character Database in the GALLERY section? I know there's not a ton of stuff there yet--but check it out--all comments and suggestions are welcome! | |

I like the site's overhaul. It looks prettier and everything stands out more. I also like the idea of the video game character database. | |

Each challenge will be picked each month by me TonyB, and will be from a game on the original NES system. 8 points for a first place finish, down to 1 point for last place, as long as a video was submitted within the time limit. No video means -1 points for that month's challenge. You are NOT to practice your run ahead of time. As the Judge, I will also submit a video run each month. This will be par for the course--if you beat me, regardless of the ranking you received, you will earn +1 points. If you cannot beat my run, you will lose a point that you earned for the month. The person with the highest point total in November will be the 2011 VGS NES Champion.
