From the creators of Strider comes, well, 4 player Strider.

 Something tells me this will be hard as Hell but also extremely awesome.  Comes out on PSN and XBOX Live hopefully this year.

Dude, that is freaking sick!!! I'm a huge Strider buff from the genesis to the PSX. I was sold at the creators of strider doing this game. Plus, the multi-player looks so freaking kick ass!!! Totally downloading this baby, I hope it comes out this year. So, what is everybody elses reaction to the trailer and will you be downloading this killer looking game?

I love the character art, and the gameplay looks fast and furious.  I enjoy the current trend of new releases inspired by old 8 bit classics.

Yet another to my growing list of games I need to buy ASAP.

So Square Enix announced that this game is now officially titled Moon Diver and will be available Spring of this year for PS3 and 360 download.

It looks awesome, it looks hard, and apparently Square is saying it's going to have some RPG like elements on top of that.  Kind of a surprise if you ask me.

This one's definitely at the top of my list of games to grab this year.  4 player Strider 2 good.

After watching the video I can't wait to play this game.  Thanks for bringing on my radar.  Lifeless do you know if you will be able to play up to 4 players online?  Or will multiplayer be local only?

4 players online or local (I believe this was confirmed, but I can't find where I read it), you know the drill. 

Moon Diver, huh?  That's aweful.  Bad ass looking game, but questionable name--what was wrong with Necromachina??

I think there was a legitimate concern that 4 player co-op Strider with rpg elements AND the name Necromachina would cause some sort of awesome vortex and destroy earth.

Or Square likes shitty game names.

Take your pick.

So tough to choose why Square did that.  Thank goodness they saved the Earth, you know just in case the vortex would/could happen.

I was excited to see that this game has finally released.  I have not had a chance to play it although I have downloaded the demo.  Has anyone played this title yet?  If so what are your thoughts so far?  Is it worth purchasing?

It's a blast--and I'm not the only person who thinks so--Moon Diver is getting pretty good reviews.  RPG version of Strider?  That's a pretty solid mix.

I might have to pick this one up.  This is a bit off topic but there was another game on PSN I was looking at called Dungeon Hunter.  Looked like the Champions of Norrath or Ultimate Alliance games.  Anyone played Dungeon Hunter yet?  If so I would like to start a thread and see what people think of that title.

Well I was going to download this game but the network outage has prevented me from making the purchase.  Oh well, maybe later this week.
