As hardcore gamers, we all have an obsession, collecting video games baby! Ever since I was born, there has been a controller in my hand and I knew at a very young age that I was going to devote my life to video games. "If it is anything video game related, I want to own it" is what I told myself. Now while sadly no one can own every single piece of video game memorabilia and especially every single video game, as I realized as I got older having to pay bills and of course dating the ladies (both which cost a lot of money) lol. But that being said, I am extremely proud of my video game collection! Which has inspired me to post this thread, please feel free to share your video game collections on this forum. Feel free to tell your story behind your collection and especially post some pics of your gaming room and collection. Also, please post any new items that you have added to your collection whether from Ebay, a flea market or heck even if it is the newest Red Dead Redemption. If it is something you want to showcase, please feel free to share it here. Thanks, I look forward to seeing every bodies killer gaming collections.

So I will start it off here. When I say I collect anything and everything video game related and that I love everything that is video game, I mean it!!! Today I was at Toys R Us and for $4.99 on clearance, I came across this cool cutesie cat stuffed animal from the extremely popular Petz series on the Nintendo DS. There is actually a whole set of these from the Catz, Dogz and Monkeyz games. What's even cooler is that these UbiPetz come with a code to unlock the stuffed animal in the corresponding game! I will seek them out hehe Also, while I was there I picked up a really cool Super Mario Sluggers Wall Graffix for $9.99... which I'm sure you will all be seeing in the future when I use it for Video Game Saga TV hehe.

What an awesome day, it all started at midnight last night when I saw the midnight showing of Prince of Persia the Sands of Time which absolutely kicked ass! So I was at Target and noticed they have all kinds of cool Prince of Persia toys and legos from the movie. So I bought a $10.00 Sands of Time replica dagger which is totally awesome! Oh and while I was checking out the Pokemon cards at Target, I noticed a Super Mario Galaxy trading card kit which I totally picked up for $3.99! Then I stopped by a new DVDStop location by my house and come to find they have some pretty cool retro games as well as movies. So I picked up Frankenstein's Monster and Deadly Duck for Atari 2600 and only paid .59 cents each. BIG SMILE on my face their I also purchased the Punch-Out Heavyweight Contender Kit that is an Amazon exclusive, DVDStop had it for $29.99 with half off so I got it for $15.00. The kit comes with boxers with a warning label that says "Warning : The yellow ink printed on the boxers contains traces of a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer"(which I find very interesting), a King Hippo metal crown, a Doc Louis's chocolate bar and a desktop Punching bag. So yeah, my visit to DVDStop was totally awesome! I had a great day in collecting. Pics below:

OMG! Today is a most exciting one especially for a Metal Gear Solid nut like myself! I have been waiting months to pick up my reserved copy of the Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker Big Boss Pack. I was so excited I couldn't even sleep, I was up til 4:30am and was up 5 hours later to be at my local GameStop at open to pick up the Big Boss Pack. Being the huge collector that I am, I will not open this awesome pack, as tempting as it may be The Big Boss Pack Contains the following goodness: -Limited Edition Camoflauge PSP System -Exclusive MGS Carry Case -MGS: Peace Walker UMD Game -2012 PSN Movie Voucher -4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo

Well to put it all bluntly, I have over 64 consoles total, yes many dupes, but I have almost everything ranging from Atari 2600- PS3.
I have nearly 700 games.
I don't know what my rarest game is yet.
I recently bought a 3DO (included Doom and Gex). I recently bought an Intellivision II (included 22 games+ computer module and keyboard). I recently bought a Colecovision (included 26 games+ 2 extra controllers, trackball, and two other wierd joysticks)
A few weeks ago I picked up a CIB copy of Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES) for 9.99 A few days ago I picked up a CIB Super Nintendo (1992), with some games included.
Next on my list is an Atari Jaguar.
PS- It's been a while since I've last been here...

I am jealous of your Colecovision find, I have been looking to get a good Colecovision package for awhile now. I spotted one years back in the box at a Thrift Store for like $35.00 and didn't have the money so like a total tard I passed on that killer deal. By the way man, it's great to see your post, it's always a pleasure having you on our boards! You da man!

I love this movie! We have talked before about how much I dig video game movies that feature outfits that the characters wear in the game! The fight scenes kicked ass too! I did some research, apparently this is a pretty rare dvd hehe

Here's a wierd random promo item. This is a CD case I got from Electronics Boutique for reserving the original Tony Hawk on the PS1. It may not look like much, but it has lasted forever. I take it on all the trips I go one and this never wears out. It's also padded which is a nice plus.

That my good buddy, is one kick ass promo item. That's the original Neversoft Tony Hawk game that started it all and to still be sporting the original promo cd carry case from 1999 is freaking awesome! Nice item partner.
