Classic Controller Pro Coming in April

Posted by Video Game Saga on March 4, 2010 at 5:41 PM

If you have been wondering why your local Best Buy and other retailers have been out of stock on Wii Classic Controllers, it's because the Classic Controllers are being held back in favor of the new model, the Classic Controller Pro which will ship on April 1, 2010. Gamers have been complaining about the current Classic Controller being uncomfortable so the new Classic Controller Pro will have an additional grip and shoulder buttons. The Classic Controller Pro will come in either Black or White and will retail for $19.99. Also, the upcoming Monster Hunter Tri will be available in a bundle for $59.99 that includes the Classic Controller Pro.

Jim's 2 Cents: This is awesome! I mean personally I find the current Classic Controller very comfortable, I have been playing hours and hours of Tatsunoko vs Capcom with no problems. But to have a new model with an additional grip and shoulder buttons will only add to the gameplay. Plus, the bundle with Monster Hunter is a very cool deal and a great way to promote the Classic Controller Pro.
