About two months ago I got my brand new copy of Super Metroid in the mail. That is Super Metroid Redesign. It came with a very beautifully handcrafted black box, with custom artwork on the front. In the box was a well-done poster, map, manual, and a cartridge with custom art work on it. Not to mention it had a handcrafted SNES game box with it as well. I was excited like ...

How many people remember the original Playstation home console? Just about everybody does. How many people remember how the videogame industry was like when the Playstation was a big hit? Most of everyone does. Now, how many people remember saying or hearing; "Playstation will NEVER take off!" Not as much people can say that nowadays. Truth be told, almost everybody has forgotten how the industry has changed. Playstation did a remarkable job at that. The original Playstation was a tremendous ...

I've noticed a reoccurring thing with reviewers and gamers alike. Often there are scapegoats for the downfall of companies that are misplaced. I often see the same consoles appear on the "Top Ten Worst Game System Ever!!!!" lists. Sure the ones they mention have their issues, but that does not mean the system does not have it's attractions. The most commonly bashed on console that I see is the Sega 32X. I also get a lot of Atari Jaguar hatred and Cd-i disdain on online forums, but those are f...

Welcome back to The Franchise!
On today's menu we have the Champions of Norrath series February 10, 2004 in the USA on PS2 by Snowblind Studios and Sony Online Entertainment. This game featured five different playable characters each with their own unique abilities. This game was pretty much as close to Diablo 2 as you will find on a console.
