For the past year I have been heavily following the production of Tron Legacy, the sequel to the 1982 cult classic film Tron directed by Steven Lisberger. PlayStation 3 users across the nation reported late on February 28th, that turning on their PS3, their games have been unplayable, hard earned trophies lost and denied access to PlayStation Network. According to Major Nelson's Twitter account, Midway's Xbox Live Arcade titles have been removed from the service "due to publisher evolving rights and permissions..."
The games that are gone are Cyberball, Defender, Paperboy, Rootbeer Tapper, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Robotron, Joust, Gauntlet and Smash TV. Nelson does state however that you can still play them or re-download them if you purchased them previously.
